Yippeeai Limited ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Niji Dreams mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Account Information: When you create an account, we may collect your display name and email address.
In-App Preferences: Your story progress, game settings, text size preferences, and audio preferences are stored locally on your device.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for push notification delivery.
Usage Data: General app usage patterns such as which features are accessed, session duration, and story chapter progress. This data is anonymized and used solely to improve the App.
Push Notification Tokens: If you opt in to notifications, we collect your device's push notification token via Expo Push Notification service.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your precise location.
We do not access your contacts, photos, or files.
We do not collect payment or financial information (the in-app store is not yet active).
We do not use cookies or web tracking technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide and maintain the App's functionality.
To save and restore your game progress across sessions.
To send push notifications (daily reminders, story updates) if you have opted in.
To improve the App based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
To respond to your feedback or support requests.
3. Data Storage
Your game progress, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using secure storage (Expo SecureStore on native platforms, localStorage on web). We do not transmit your story progress or personal game data to external servers unless you explicitly use a cloud sync feature (not currently available).
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Children's Privacy
Niji Dreams is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete such information.
6. Push Notifications
The App may send push notifications including:
Daily bonus reminders
Story continuation nudges
New chapter availability alerts
Weekly engagement reminders
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's Settings.
7. Data Retention
Your locally stored data persists until you uninstall the App or manually clear app data. You can reset your story progress at any time through the Settings screen within the App.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your data by uninstalling the App or contacting us.
Opt out of push notifications via device settings.
Reset your in-app progress via the Settings screen.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including secure local storage (SecureStore) for sensitive data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
